My Lab History

Privacy policy

Last updated 27 October 2026

In short: your lab reports, test results, and the names and dates of birth you enter never leave your device. They’re kept in your browser for up to 24 hours and then deleted. We don’t have accounts, cookies for tracking, analytics or advertising. Payments are handled by Razorpay, which asks for your phone number or email to process the payment.

This policy explains how My Lab History (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use the app at https://mylabhistory.in. It is written to meet India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules.

1. Information that stays on your device

When you add a lab report, the app reads it inside your browser. This includes the report file, test names and values, reference ranges, lab names, dates, and the name, date of birth and gender you enter for each family member.

2. Information Razorpay collects for payments

If you pay, you do so on Razorpay’s secure page. Razorpay collects your phone number and/or email address and your payment details (UPI, card, bank or wallet) to process the payment and meet legal and fraud-prevention requirements. Razorpay handles this under its own privacy policy.

We can see, in our Razorpay account, the amount, date, payment ID, and the phone number or email you gave Razorpay. We use these only to handle payments, refunds and support requests.

3. Information our server receives

To create and check payments, the app sends our server only:

These are stored as notes on the payment in Razorpay, so we can check refund requests. We don’t keep a database of our own. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes technical information such as IP address and browser type to deliver the site securely, and keeps short-lived logs. Your IP address is also used, for one minute, to limit how often payment requests can be made; it isn’t stored by us.

4. Why we process information

We process payment information to provide the service you paid for, handle refunds and support, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations such as tax records. By paying, you consent to this. Health information is processed only by your own device, for you.

5. Children

The app is meant for adults. A parent or legal guardian may add a child’s reports on their own device; that information stays on the device like all other reports.

6. Sharing

We don’t sell or share personal data. Payment information is shared only with Razorpay and, where required, with banks or authorities under law.

7. How long we keep information

8. Security

The site uses HTTPS and a strict content security policy that stops the app from sending data to other websites. Because your reports never reach our servers, they can’t be exposed in a breach of our systems. Keep your device locked, especially if others use it, and use Delete now when you’re done on a shared device.

9. Your rights

You can access, correct or delete the information on your device at any time in the app. For payment information we hold, you can ask us to access, correct or erase it (subject to legal record-keeping), or withdraw consent, by emailing customercare@mylabhistory.in. You may also complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

10. Grievance officer

Grievance Officer, My Lab History · customercare@mylabhistory.in · 1/200, Jones Blazia Apartments, 200 Feet Radial Road, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600117. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 30 days.

11. Changes

We’ll update the date at the top when this policy changes.

Your reports are never uploaded, and we don’t store your details anywhere. My Lab History is completely ad-free, because we value your privacy.
